Ouch. Battlefield 2042, officially released just two days ago, is now one of the worst rated games on Steam with over 29,000 negative reviews. It is currently the eighth lowest-rated game on Steam.
As noted Forbes by using v Steam250 sitee, the game made it to the top 10 worst-reviewed games on Steam’s list, currently ranking eighth. And as more and more players rate the game negatively, it is likely to move up this list. It’s still not so hateful as a video game depicting a disaster known as cyber soccer 2022, but this is a low cleaning bar…
Battlefield 2042 had a hard start, with the gamepeople complain about broken cars, poor hitboxes, poor PC performance, problems with registration and bullet accuracy, lack of features, and more. Although the game received the first day patch, BF 2042 still in a very rough way. As a result, the game is rated very, very poorly by thousands of players on Steam.
From nearly 40 thousand reviews on Steam, BF 2042 has only about 9700 positive reviews. The rest of the 29,000+ reviews are negative, with many complaining about lack of weapons, features and poor performance on PC.
“When BF3 came out, I thought to myself, imagine what Battlefield will look like in ten years. Didn’t expect this … “reads one popular Steam review.
Players have spent the last few days making a list of everything that is missing or broken. BF 2042 and it’s much longer than i expected… Some notable omissions included limited workarounds, no default server browser, class-based system removal, no in-game profile or stats page, no spectator mode, and no disruption compared to past games.
Although I expect EA and Dice to work to improve Battlefield 2042 on all platforms, I have a clear feeling that this game shouldn’t have been released this year. Perhaps in a few months, after major updates, BF 2042 will improve their reviews on Steam. But at the moment it is one of the worst rated games on the platform.
