Auto Battle Pokémon with the latest “Let’s Go!” Scarlet and Violet
The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer had a lot of new information for us, including new monsters, villains, and paths; although one feature that has hardly been touched upon is the newest game research feature: “Let’s go!”
In a message posted on the official Pokemon site Scarlet and VioletThe company has shared some details about this new Auto Battle mechanic that will let you send your Pokémon buddy on missions while you mind your own business – as if taking part in life-threatening battles wasn’t Pokémon pulling enough weight on them.
“Go!” The feature sends your Pokémon to a destination of your choice, where they can collect items and even auto-battle any wild monsters they encounter on their travels. So no, this is not a Pokémon GO style capture interface like Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu, and Eevee.
But wait what are auto battles? we hear you ask. Can I just turn it on and destroy all the Gym Leaders with OP’s Pokémon Team? Eh, no.
Auto Battle is a new mechanic where your strong, independent Pokémon can fight other Pokémon on their own, without your guidance. Sure, you can stand by and watch your buddy use his best moveset against his wild opponent, but this feature gives you the freedom to go and explore in the meantime.
By defeating the enemy in this way, your Pokémon can earn items and experience, so it’s worth giving yourself some time alone while your fellow travelers make sure that the path ahead is clear.
