Arcade Paradise will act out our 90s nostalgia next spring

We wrote about Arcade paradise several times this year, and now publisher Wired Productions, along with developer Nosebleed Interactive, have released a new trailer and confirmed more details. First, it should happen in the spring of 2022, and was once planned for the end of this year.

This is a game that draws heavily on the culture of 90s arcade games, which can definitely be quite fun as you try to run a laundry while transforming it into a joyous arcade game. Apparently a big part of the game lies in the fact that you will be able to play over 30 arcades, which will be games from that era.

Welcome to Arcade Paradise, a retro 90s arcade adventure. Playing as Ashley, your father, Gerald (voiced by Geralt from The Witcher, Doug Cockle), traveled to the Riviera and gave you the keys to his laundry, tasking you with tedious daily chores. Instead of making a living washing rags, you decide to turn the family laundry into a true arcade game. Play, profit and buy new arcade machines from over 35 to choose from, inspired by the 80s and 90s generation of arcade games. Arcade paradise will feature newly created “classics” games such as Knuckles and Knees, Zombat 2, Woodgals Adventure, Vostok 2093, Gravichase and the daring Racer Chaser in FULL 3D and much more.

Melt your face crazy graphics, experience the shaking of the skull extreme stereo sound when you crush your opponents, dominate the highscore and become legend… But don’t forget that you still need to run the laundry!
