Arcade Classic Raiden Comes to Nintendo Switch Next Week

HAMSTER carries the classic shmup Raiden to the Nintendo Switch as part of its Arcade archives range next month, it has been announced. The game arrives on the eShop on July 1st.
Originally released by Seibu Kaihatsu with great success in 1990, Raiden has spawned a long-running series that continues to this day. In the latest version, Raiden IV x Mikado Remix, launched on Switch this year, and the console already has it Raiden V Director’s Cut.
Raiden has been brought into many home systems over the years, including the SNES, Mega Drive, PC Engine and even the Atari Jaguar. Are you excited about the fact that you can quickly play the original arcade edition on your Switch? Let me know with a comment.
