Animal Crossing Hokko Life-style game gets ‘performance update’ on Switch

If you like lifestyle simulation games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and looking for something else to play, now is the time to return to Team17’s Hokko Life. A new post on the publisher’s official website reveals that the Nintendo Switch version of the game has just been updated.

Hokko Life debuted on the Nintendo hybrid system back in September, and now it’s been getting some performance fixes (such as improving FPS drops) and fixing some annoying bugs. As part of this update, the team has also “laid the groundwork” for the game’s next update, which is apparently coming soon.

“We have been working on issues related to filling up the storage of saved games and improving the messaging around them. We’ve also laid the groundwork for the next update coming soon, where players will be able to control their crafted items. and control their use of their save space. This feature is still in development, but we wanted to release this performance fix as soon as possible to fix a lot of other annoying bugs!”

Performance Update Patch Notes (December 1, 2022)

  • Fixed several issues that could cause the user to get disconnected or disconnect errors.
