Among Us has a roadmap for 2023
It’s a new year, which means that popular multiplayer indie hit Among Us has a new roadmap. So what’s on the agenda for 2023?
UI and user experience updates coming soon. This includes “cleaning up the account merging process, updating the store to make navigation easier, making it easier to understand how you can report a toxic player” and more.
Other than that, Map 5 is currently in the works. Here’s what Innersloot has to say about it:
“Yes, we are finally giving you a brand new map to explore this year! I can’t tell you what the theme is, but I CAN tell you that there will be all new challenges for you to figure out, come with more makeup, and have fun surprises hidden around. We put a LOT of love into our design process for these maps – you’ll notice that all of our maps often contain tiny details to make them fun and fun to play if you take a look around (I love the depiction of bone anatomy on the airship the best). “
In addition to the new map, there will also be improved matchmaking updates, a quick chat overhaul – refinement of dialogue options and easier navigation, more cooperative activities (including some big ones), and if the team has enough time, it’s eyeing new roles:
“If we have additional time and opportunity, we would love to add a few more new roles to the game. it creates a whole new way to play. We have many other ideas in our brain and we hope to be able to share them with you someday! Another thing we hope to work on is improvements to the friends list so you can do a lot more with the people you call ‘friends’ (this will stab you in the back if you’re an impostor, but whatever).”
