After endless delays and empty words, Dispatch Games seems dead

In what can only be described as a real disaster, the sorry state of limited liability publishing company Dispatch Games has apparently reached its sad and inevitable end.

As was highlighted Sea foam gameswho has been following the unfortunate situation closely, a report from the state of Tennessee indicated that Dispatch Games is no more and that customers awaiting delivery of physical games such as Game Tengoku, Radirgy Swag, and Rail Sim simply won’t get the games they paid for, despite on the assurances of Dispatch, most recently back in June.

First, however, let’s summarize. Back in 2020, we launched a feature dedicated to Dispatch Games’ inability to fulfill pre-orders for their games and subsequent apparent lack of customer communication. Social media and direct contact channels were met with complete silence from the company, and fans were understandably very frustrated with the situation.

Since then, Dispatch Games has made several attempts to effectively reboot its operations, going so far as to abruptly proclaim a “new day” in a tweet that has now, of course, been deleted along with almost all of its previous ones. communication. The company has promised to send out digital codes to those who are waiting for Game Tengoku pre-orders, and it looks like at least some people have received them as planned.

Now, however, it looks like Dispatch Games has ceased to exist altogether, having been flagged as “inactive” via Tennessee state website as of August 9, 2022 due to non-payment of administrative fees by the company. This follows a similar step by California State back in October when Dispatch Games was also labeled “on hold”. While the company may still exist in some minor capacity, all indications indicate that it has effectively ceased operations and is now a defunct entity.

So what does this mean for customers waiting for pre-orders or refunds? Well, unfortunately, most likely they won’t either. We’ve reached out to Dispatch Games for comment on this and will update this article with any response or helpful information, but with the company once again staying silent on the radio, at least June – after repeated promises followed by long periods of inactivity – we do not hope.

The whole ordeal proved to be a disaster for the company itself, but more importantly for its future customers. Let’s hope that Dispatch Games can at least provide some explanation and justify their actions or lack of them.

Have you been affected by the business practices of Dispatch Games? What do you think the company needs to do to fix things? Is it even possible? Let us know.
