Advance Wars Switch Delayed Release Could Finally Be Reportable

One game we hope to see on Switch this year is Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp. The latest update for this game was revealed in Nintendo’s financial report last November, which indicated that the game’s release date was still undetermined.

Now, in the latest development, a thread on Famiboards has apparently highlighted changes to the game’s online store web page – with “new NSUID attached”. As explained in the same post, the new NSUID means “pre-orders will go live at some point in the future.”

In addition to this development, there appear to be more online listings for Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp now. This supposedly includes new and updated listings on Amazon Mexico and Canada, Walmart, Best Buy, and EB Games (thanks, My Nintendo News).

As you may remember, the release of Advance Wars for Switch was delayed several times before being delayed (again) last March due to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Aside from the recent financial report citing the title, a Nintendo spokesperson also confirmed last September that the 2-in-1 game was only “postponed” and not cut.

Quite obviously, the Switch version is also ready to go – a Switch fan accidentally got early access to the title last April. As a result, Nintendo canceled the purchase and returned the money.
