Accidentally: Hunting Phoebe in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl? This tool can help

Fibas, an ugly fish that turns into a beautiful – Eel? The Dragon? Snake thing? – Quite hard to find in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. They only appear in certain places, and figuring out where they are can be a long, difficult and boring quest.

Fortunately, some players have come up with a way to guarantee the search for Fibas fish. In past games, the Feebas generation was determined by things like changing buzzwords in Dewford Town (Ruby and Sapphire), but in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, where Feebas appears depends on the Lotto ID you get from the Jubilife TV secretary.

Once you know your ID number, you can simply enter it into this handy toolwhich will use this ID to tell you exactly which tiles you need to fish on in order to find a special fish.

Head to the misty lake deep in Mount Coronet and you’ll find yourself in the right place to spend your time in Fibas! The tool will tell you exactly which tiles can create Feebas – you will probably see two red and two green tiles, and if the red tiles do not spawn Feebas, then the green ones are guaranteed to appear. Sometimes tiles can spawn inside stones, which means you have less chance – or even zero – so just try again the next day!
