Yes, there is a Snyder Cut for the Movie “Sucker Punch”

Another day, another Snyder cut. Immediately in the heels of Justice League (Snyder’s Cut), the action director admits there is a cut from the director of his 2011 fantasy film Sucker Punch. This would be the third cut of the film since there is an extended DVD cut, but something very different from the director cut.

Snyder spoke with Vanity Fair on his thoughts on the restructuring of the film. “[Sucker Punch] it was the first time where I really faced, like, a real radical restructuring of the film to make it more commercial, ”he says.“ And there’s a cut from the director of that film that hasn’t even been released yet. I will say it out loud. ” It doesn’t explain what’s different between the different cuts, but it does understand the power of fandom. So maybe he put the information here to gather fans to release the new Sucker Punk cut again. However, I doubt that Sucker Punch’s fan base will be successful in this endeavor.

If you don’t remember, the film follows Babydoll (Emily Browning), who retreats into a world of self-created fantasy where she is at her strongest and worst. As she struggles her way through various tasks for freedom, she forms a team of women, Rocket (Jena Malone), Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), Amber (Jamie Chung), and Sweet Pea (Abby Cornish), who fight everything from samurai to snakes to survive.

While that sounds like a pretty good time power girl, Sucker Punch it finds rot at 22 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, with an otherwise rotten audience point. The film became a cult classic in later years, probably due to the release of the extra 18 minutes in the extended cut.
