Two important individuals in the history of Call of Duty they founded a new study. At Summer Game Fest, Dave Anthony and Jason Blundell, formerly of Treyarch, announced the existence of Deviation Games. They also shared that they are working on a new IP for Sony, but they stopped short of detailing the project. Given the team’s pedigree, you can probably expect a first-person shooter.
“We’re building on what we’ve learned in our decades-long collective making games, but we’re also about to do something fresh and full of innovation like you’ve never experienced before,” Anthony wrote in a post on to the after the initial announcement. “We’re going to make a huge, content-rich game with a focus on a lot of action and a lot of energy.”
Deviation Games is another big success for Sony. It was only in March that the company announced it was working , a studio founded by former Ubisoft producer and Jade Raymond Stadium, to fund a new original PlayStation game.
