Well, [director Destin Daniel Cretton and I] there were just a few chats. We talked for a very long time, and he has an open mind, he has an open heart, and he is firm. He and the work he does is grounded, and I think that’s the most important part that we’re dealing with myths, you know? What is Kang? What is a film? What is an MCU movie, you know? What does it mean? What does it look like? These are the questions we ask, but it all works when it’s grounded and really, really tied to the given circumstances of what’s going on between these people and what we can illuminate for ourselves as a species.

It certainly suggests it. There have been several rumors about what happened in the two years since the Hulk left Banner and the Avengers. I really think the trip to Sakaar is a good place to start and what that means for the idea of what the fans have been asking for is this idea of a Planet Hulk or a World War Hulk or just the journey that Banner and Hulk have to take. reconcile with each other. This is really interesting for me and I feel like there is some interest in learning this in the future.
