‘RuneScape’ opens to everyone on iOS and Android


Publisher Jagex announced earlier this year that one RuneScape get out of early access on the phone sometime this summer. Starting today, anyone can immerse themselves in the long-running MMORPG on iOS and Android.

RuneScape it’s free to play, though subscribers have access to more quests, abilities and other extras. You can check membership for free with a seven-day trial. Mobile versions support cross-play and cross-progression with PCs, so you can jump between platforms and continue where you left off.

Note that this is not the case Old School RuneScape, a version based on a 2007 version. It has been made available on iOS and Android after 2018. This is the complete thing RuneScape that Jagex has been constantly updating for the last 20 years.


There is a clear appetite for it RuneScape in iOS and Android. More than 1.8 million readers pre-registered for those versions, which have a user-friendly interface for mobile with less enhancements, icons, text and textures. The combat mechanics have also been modified for iOS and Android.
