Faces of Death Gets Gen-Z Reboot From Legendary Entertainment

The fake documentary Faces of death it’s a classic horror that has left movie fans in disbelief as it has shown various ways that man can die in graphic detail. The film includes clips from around the world and convinced everyone that the various deaths were true, but many were not.
The Hollywood Reporter states that Legendary Entertainment (Godzilla Vs. Kong) has taken over the franchise rights and plans a relaunch for the Gen z era. The team back in 2018 Netflix sex work thriller Cam (Isa Mazzei and Daniel Goldhaber) will write and direct.
The synopsis for the new film is as follows:
“A female moderator of a YouTube-like website whose job it is to rid herself of offensive and violent content and who herself is recovering from a serious trauma, who stumbles into a group that recreates the murders from the original film. But in story prepared for the digital age of online misinformation, the question is: Are murders true or false?
The first film was released in theaters in 1978 and written / directed by John Allan Schwartz. Initial reviews have not been friendly with the film since it was welcomed with revulsion and banned in many countries. It’s not until he hit the VHS market in the 1980s which gained a cult following, which helped fuel many sequences and imitations.
