Doctor Who’s Jodie Whittaker Is a Pro at Keeping Secrets
U noise of the mill is spun, and the word on the road is Jodie Whitaker stepping out of her role as the 13th Doctor Doctor Who. However, the actress remains silent on the subject.
In an interview with Doctor Who Magazine via u Radio Times, reports that Whittaker and co-star Mandip Gill did not address the rumors during the Q&A, but elaborated on how professional they are at keeping secrets of the show in terms of plot details and casting. When discussing how easy it is to keep things quiet, Whittaker said, “I hate spoilers.»
Producers and writers do well to keep things on a need-to-know basis with their actors. Whittaker isn’t always up to date on future episodes and learns information as it comes. “Often, we don’t really know what’s going to happen.” [in future episodes] because there is no telling. It’s a really good system! Sometimes, when I find out what’s going to happen, I say, ‘I’m so glad you didn’t tell me that! “
Keeping secrets about the sector was something he took for granted when Whittaker was silent on his casting Doctor Who. “The hardest secret to keep was my own!” he said. “It’s been a long time in my life – the distance between hearing to play the doctor, being given, and being announced.”
The actress was eager to be pushed into the stardom, which happens when she becomes the new Doctor of the series. “I didn’t want him to run away; I didn’t want to leave before I revealed because I knew my life was going to change, and I didn’t have any rush for that to happen until I was prepared for it. ”
