Diablo II: Resurrected open beta begins August 20.

In the midst of unrest engulfing the company, Blizzard will provide Diablo ii fans a chance to play the game during two separate weekends with early access… The first of these will begin August 13 at 1:00 pm ET. It will be open to those who have made a reservation Diablo II: Resurrection or Diablo Prime Evil Collection, which includes both remaster and Diablo 3, on PC, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PS4.

If you enter this camp, you will have until August 17 at 1PM ET to complete Act I and II as an Amazon, Barbarian, Druid, Paladin, or Witch. What’s more, this time Blizzard will let you play with up to seven other players with cross-progression enabled. Just note that during Early Access Weekend this feature will only work on platforms you pre-ordered the game on.

A week from now, starting August 20 at 1PM ET, Blizzard will open beta testing for anyone who wants to participate. At this point, you will have until the 23rd to see the studio’s work on updating their favorite RPG. Sadly, none of the beta versions will be available on Nintendo Switch. And if you want to see the Assassin and the Necromancer play in the remaster, you’ll also have to wait until the game’s release date.
