Dead space gets a new chance in life. EA showed a teaser trailer for the updated version of the original Dead space, showing a terrifying environment teeming with necromorphs and nothing more. Motive Studios is developing the game and it will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S and PC.
Here’s how EA describes the new beginnings on YouTube: “Classic sci-fi survival horror. Dead space returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up by Motive Studios to offer a deeper and more immersive experience. Leveraging the power of the Frostbite game engine and next-generation consoles, this remake brings stunning visual fidelity and gameplay enhancements while remaining true to the original. ”
EA says a new version Dead space will include an improved storyline, characters and game mechanics.
Original Dead space was released in 2008 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and became an instant classic. The series tackles space horror horror with terrifying alien creatures around every corner, creative weapons, and the constant threat of crushing isolation. All of this should be even worse on modern equipment.
There is not a word about the release window of the updated version. Dead space just for now.
