In 2010, Lego finally realized that many collectors often buy a certain set just because of the unique minifigures it includes, and therefore launched a collectible line of minifigures with unique costumes and accessories not found in any other set. At Lego Con 2022, the company unveiled 23rd series of these collectible minifigures (actually it will be the 40th if you count all the themed collections such as The Simpsons as well as dolls too much), which includes 12 new characters: Nutcracker, Sugar Fairy, Green Dragon Costume, Snowman, Reindeer Costume, Holiday Elf, Turkey Costume, Cardboard Robot, Popcorn Costume, Wolf Costume, Ferry Captain and Knight of the Yellow Castle.
