Congress adopted a couple of bills last week to help alleviate US infant formula shortages, while President Joe Biden launched Operation Formula Fly, which set the goal of military with hundreds of boxes of formula from Europe. And while every decent person supports making it easier for families to access formula, there are some Republicans who seem to lack that basic form of empathy in a crisis.

When the law on access to infant formula was voted in the House last week, 414 politicians, both Democrats and Republicans, voted in favor of the legislation. The bill will allow families in the WIC food assistance program to buy any brand of formula available in stores, instead of forcing them to buy a specific brand. But precisely nine Republicans voted against the bill.

Who are these people who voted against making it easier for families to get the formula they need? There are many such people who consider themselves “protectors of life” and protectors of American families.

Today we have photographs of these nine Republicans, as well as several completely unrelated quotes. Please ignore the quotes. We are trying to remove them.
