Xiaomi recently had a bit of problems when a researcher said that the Mi browser on Xiaomi smartphones collects data. This browser collects data even if you switch to incognito mode in the Mi browser or in the Mint browser. Xiaomi tried to clarify the situation but couldn’t do so, so recently it released a new update for browsers so that you can now prevent Xiaomi from collecting browsing data.

This new update adds a new feature in the browser settings that allows you to control whether you want to share browsing data or not. Xiaomi has updated its browsers with it’s option. 1. Update your Mi Browser
If you are using Mi Browser on your Xiaomi smartphone then you may have got a new update for your browser. Version 12.1.4 of the Mi browser has this advanced incognito mode function that you can turn off to disable Xiaomi which collects your data.
To upgrade your browser, go to Settings> System App Updater, here you will find all the latest updates for system applications. Click the Update button in My Browser to update it and wait for the update to install.
2. Improved Incognito Mode in My Browser
- Launch the update Mi browser on your smartphone and open Settings.
- Select Incognito mode from here.
- Turn it off Improved Incognito Mode from this page.
