An investigation into the handling of the Covid-19 crisis by Brazil has heard allegations that a public servant has been pressured to pass a vaccine import agreement and that President Jair Bolsonaro was alerted of possible irregularities. The Senate committee examines how the administration handled the pandemic.

The Latitude music festival will be allowed to run at full capacity this summer after being included in the government’s event research program.
