This 12,323-square-foot mansion recently hit the market for $ 14 million, making it the most expensive listing Weston, Florida has ever seen.
The 27-square-mile city is located approximately 31 miles northwest of Miami in the westernmost part of Broward County. Its northern and western borders are bordered by the Florida Everglades.

This seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom lakeside residence is located in the Windmill Ranch Estates community, Weston’s first residential development built in 1984, according to the city’s website. Weston has a population of 68,305, according to the Bureau of Economics and Business Research at the University of Florida. According to the latest census figures, his family’s median income is $ 107,908.
“Weston is far enough from dense urban centers such as Fort Lauderdale and Miami to give it a serene suburban vibe, but it still gives residents easy access to larger city life,” said Senada Adzem, real estate agent.
Real estate records show that the most expensive home ever sold in Weston sold for $ 7 million in 2012. This home, also located on Windmill Ranch Estates, was 25,000 square feet and was priced at $ 280 per square foot.

According to the listing, the building at 3030 Meadow Lane, completed in 2017, is about half the size of this record mansion, but its owners are asking twice the price, which is four times the price per square foot of $ 1,136.
Selling close to the asking price would break the local record and put the home’s value on par with some of Broward’s largest sales, 25 miles east, in Fort Lauderdale, where you’ll find the county’s most expensive real estate. A waterfront home in Fort Lauderdale sold for $ 23 million in April, the record for the highest sale in the county, according to Multiple Listing Service.
By comparison, the median selling price of a single-family home in Broward County in October was $ 658,274, up 19.3% from last year. County-wide sales totaled $ 912.4 million last month. Miami Real Estate Market Review for October…
“Weston owns $ 10 million or more of the estate,” Adzem said. “Monarch Estate is the first property of this magnitude on the market. We expect to see more of this multimillion-dollar property for sale over time given the strong demand in the luxury sector. “
