Stocks make biggest moves after hours: United Airlines and others

A United Airlines passenger plane is being loaded at BER Capital Airport before the first flight from BER to New York’s Newark Airport. On flights to the US East Coast, Berliners and Brandenburgers no longer need to change planes. From Monday, United Airlines will connect Schönefeld directly to New York’s Newark Airport daily. This is BER’s first long haul connection to the US.

Check out the companies that made headlines after hours:

United Airlines – The airline’s shares rose more than 3% in extended trading after the company released an update on its second-quarter guidance. “[T]Demand has continued to improve, resulting in a higher per-unit revenue guidance for the second quarter of 2022,” United Securities said in a statement.

Take-Two Interactive – Shares of the video game company are up more than 2% despite no expected orders in the fourth quarter. Take-Two reported net bookings of $846 million, compared to $882 million that analysts polled by Refinitiv expected.

Tencent Music Entertainment – Tencent’s stock rose about 1% following the company’s first-quarter earnings. Tencent’s revenue was $1.05 billion, while analysts polled by StreetAccount had expected $1.03 billion.
