The NFL brought back three of its most prominent all-star players – quarterbacks Aaron Rogers, Russell Wilson and receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. – in Week 10, and their games caught the attention of one of the league’s media partners.

ViacomCBS aired the national window for Sunday’s Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks, and Disney-owned ESPN broadcast Beckham’s Los Angeles debut for its Monday Night Football package.

CBS has stated that its performance is average 22.7 million viewers, helping the network averaged 17.3 million viewers this season.

Rogers led the Packers to a 17-0 win over the Seahawks, which missed the game for the first time in Wilson’s career. The Seahawks star has also returned to the pitch after missing the last three games with an arm injury.

Rogers returned to the field for the first time since week 8 after testing positive for Covid. The NFL fined him $ 14,650 for attending a Halloween party without a mask. The Packers quarterback moved 292 yards to intercept the Seahawks, while Wilson made 20 of 40 assists, 161 yards and two interceptions.

The last time Seahawks shut down was in September 2011 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Seahawks kicked off that season with quarterback Tarvaris Jackson.

The game marks CBS Sports ‘third strongest NFL competition this year, following the Dallas Cowboys’ victory over the New England Patriots in Week 6. The game was watched by an average of 23.2 million viewers, making it the most played national game on the web since 2015.

But the highest-rated NFL game of the 2021 season remains Tom Brady’s return to New England in week four, when the Tampa Bay Pirates beat the Patriots. The competition averaged 28.5 million viewers on NBC Sports platforms.

Meanwhile, ESPN’s telecast on Monday caused a stir over Beckham’s return to the field. He signed a one-year contract with the Rams following his failures with the Cleveland Browns.

However, the San Francisco 49ers ruined Beckham’s debut. The 49ers beat the Rams, 31-10. Beckham hit the target three times and caught two passes for 18 yards.

On Wednesday, ESPN reported that the average game result was 12.3 million viewers on all of their platforms.

ESPN also noted in week 10 that the MNF franchise has an average of 13.4 million viewers this season. That’s 15% more than the 2020 season and 7% more than the 2019 NFL season.

The Rams are down 7-3 this season, approaching their final week. The team returns in week 12 to play Rogers & Packers.

The NFL said its 2021 games will average 16.4 million viewers on television and streaming platforms.

The NFL noted that the Cowboys were featured in three of the league’s five most played games, including their first season against the Bucs (24.8 million viewers) and the team’s Week 2 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, which averaged 24.3 million viewers.
