Scandalous social network Parler claims it is being acquired by Kanye West. The platform beloved by American conservatives made an announcement in Press release Monday.
West, who now goes by the name “Ye,” said in a statement, “In a world where conservative opinions are considered contentious, we need to make sure we have the right to express ourselves freely.”
The platform, often used by supporters of President Donald Trump, has been engulfed in controversy over the role it played in the Jan. 6 riots outside the Capitol building. This has led to the emergence of many technology companies, including Google as well as Amazonblacklist a service by making its app and website unavailable.
