Game of Thrones is back on the air, and with it, the cottage industry dedicated to the destruction of Westeros by George R.R. Martin has returned to viewers.
The new HBO series House of the Dragon takes place approximately 170 years before the events of the original Game of Thrones series. This means that new families, characters, stories and alliances are at the heart of the story. This can be very important, especially to casual fans who haven’t read George R. R. Martin’s books.
Fortunately, for those fans who want to learn, there is help. There’s no shortage of additional “Dragon House” content that can be consumed starting from YouTube channels to written summaries and reviews.
Here are four companion House of the Dragon podcasts worth checking out if you want to make sure you don’t miss a beat while watching the first season.
