Twitter shares jumped 5% in premarket on messages from bloomberg and Reuters that the social network can make a deal with Elon Musk today. Earlier this month, Musk offered to buy Twitter, which became more receptive after Tesla and SpaceX’s CEO announced $46.5 billion in funding. Twitter’s board met Sunday to discuss a plan to fund Musk’s proposed bid, a source close to the situation told CNBC. According to The New York Times, the board was in talks with Musk in the early hours of Monday.
