2. Shares of Macy’s and Kohl’s rose sharply on the back of strong quarterly results.

3. Shares of Nvidia and Cisco parted in the opposite direction after deducting profits.

Dow Cisco Systems, which rose nearly 27% in 2021 as of Wednesday close, fell more than 8% in premarket the morning after the computer networking company missed quarterly revenue and posted weaker-than-expected , forecast forecasts. Deere & Co. approved a new contract late Wednesday night, an immediate 10% hike and an end to the monthly strike of more than 10,000 employees. United Auto Workers said 61% of its members approved the latest deal with the tractor manufacturer, although the new offer was strikingly similar to the offer most workers rejected two weeks ago. Deere shares rose nearly 2% in premarket Thursday. In 2021, stocks are up about 30%.
